Bikkembergs, Greenpeace, Charles Aznavour, Siemens. His portfolio
varies so much, you can hardly believe it. Don’t try to label Hans
Westerling (1961) as a press photographer, corporate photographer
or wildlife photographer. He is just a professional photographer
with guts. He studied wolves and bears, showed them as they really
are in books in Belgium and France. He sailed several times to Antarctica,
gave lectures, organised expositions and of course found a publisher
for a book. Australia, Scotland, Iceland followed… nine books in
total. Back in Belgium Hans Westerling took up press photography
for Belgiums biggest newspaper. He currently works free lance for
a well known photoagency. CEO’s, artists, or the Jones, they all
love to pose for Hans Westerling. KS |
